Kane, better known as Glenn Jacobs, became the mayor of Knox County in 2018 in Knoxville, Tennessee.
WWE is advertising Kane for live events in Bossier City, LA on August 23rd and August 24th in Lafayette, LA at the Cajundome. Braun Strowman is listed as Kane’s opponent at these shows.
10 News out of Knoxville reached out for confirmation regarding the advertisements. According to Rob Link, who is the Director of Communications of Knox County Office, a return to the ring is not in the cards.
Link stated that Kane has no plans or dates in store to make a squared circle return. You can watch the 10 News clip below:
The last time that he was seen on WWE programming is when he teamed up with The Undertaker but lost to Triple H and Shawn Michaels in a tag team match at the WWE Crown Jewel special on November 2nd, 2018 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Saud University Stadium that aired on WWE’s streaming service, WWE Network.
