WWE Hall of Famer Kane, also known as Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs, is set for a rare independent wrestling appearance. Northeast Wrestling has announced that “The Big Red Monster” will be part of their “Wrestling Under the Stars” event on Saturday, July 19, 2025, in Niles, Ohio.
Since assuming office as mayor in 2018, Jacobs has significantly reduced his wrestling appearances, making this a unique opportunity for fans to see the legend. He was last seen on WWE television during a surprise appearance at the 2022 SummerSlam event.
The show features a stacked card of talent from across the wrestling world. Other names announced include fellow WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson, AEW stars MVP and Shelton Benjamin, and other notable wrestlers like Matt Riddle, Maria Kanellis, and Isla Dawn.
The independent tag team champions Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes of Swipe Right, who have also made appearances on NXT, are also scheduled for the show.
