Karl Anderson Confirms He’ll Be Out Six To Nine Months After Surgery

Earlier this week, Karl Anderson announced he underwent surgery, but didn’t provide much details until now.

Anderson, one half of the tag team known as The OC alongside Luke Gallows, has been absent from television since the September 24th episode of NXT, during which they lost to Hank Walker and Tank Ledger. The tag team later worked in a dark match at an NXT event in Chicago the following week.

While speaking on Talk N Shop, Anderson confirmed that he underwent surgery for a torn rotator cuff tendon and a partially torn labrum. The injury happened in a match, and while he initially didn’t think much of it, it happened again in a match the following week, and it hurt more.

Three or four matches later, he realized that it was a serious injury as he couldn’t sleep due to the aching and throbbing. Unfortunately, he expects to be out for six to nine months.

We wish him a speedy recovery.
