Karl Anderson of The Good Brothers has expressed a sense of relief and even happiness regarding his recent release from WWE in February 2025. In a candid interview with Fightful Wrestling, Anderson revealed that his and Luke Gallows’ unhappiness over the past two and a half years led them to seek ways out of their WWE contracts.
Anderson stated that their experience in WWE was not what they had initially signed up for. “If you know us, you know our happiness in the last two and a half years wasn’t really there,” Anderson admitted.
“What we signed up for wasn’t what came to be. The things we were thinking of ways to get out, and how do we do this? This isn’t working out, like we want out of here anyway.” He views the eventual release as a positive turn of events. “So to get that call anyway, I’m telling you everything about this… it all worked out, and there’s zero resentment towards it,”
Anderson shared. “It happened for a reason. I’m glad it happened. It needed to happen. I wanted it to happen.” Anderson emphasized his current state of mind: “It’s the most freeing I’ve felt in so long… Whatever they did to do it, they got there. Great. I’m here now, and it’s a blessing. It’s an absolute blessing and I’m happy.” He added that the WWE chapter is “barely in my thought process.”
