Karrion Kross showed his toughness during WrestleMania 41 week, competing in multiple matches just days after suffering a significant injury.
While Kross did not have a match on the main two-night WrestleMania 41 card, he faced AJ Styles on the April 15, 2025, episode of Monday Night Raw, leading into the show. His new documentary, “The Killer,” confirmed that Kross sustained a ruptured eardrum during that bout.
The video noted that “‘two days before Bloodsport, Karrion visited a specialist that confirmed his eardrum had ruptured in his match with AJ Styles on Raw.'” He had the eardrum repaired by a specialist just two days before he was scheduled for a high-profile independent match at GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII.
He defeated JR Kratos at Bloodsport XIII as scheduled. He competed again the following night, April 18th, in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on WWE SmackDown.
