Karrion Kross has practically picked up where he left off in WWE NXT. Since his arrival last year, he has been positioned as a top star for the brand.
Kross suffered a separated shoulder when he beat Keith Lee to win the NXT Title at the NXT TakeOver: XXX event back in August. When he first went down due to the injury and had to relinquish the title, there was no indication as to how long he would be out of action.
It turns out that he was told by one doctor that could be out of action for 8-12 months. However, he returned this past December where he was put in a feud with Damian Priest.
Kross posted the following on Twitter:
“I remember receiving a prognosis about how long I was going to be out.1 of them was 8 to 12 months. I became very angry when I heard that. I woke up everyday with that anger & made it work for me. And to this day, It’s still working. I will become Champion once again.”
