Karrion Kross Talks Bringing Killer Kross To WWE: “I Would 100% Do It”

Before he was the calculating Karrion Kross in WWE, he was the terrifying and violent “Killer Kross” on the independent circuit and in promotions like IMPACT Wrestling and MLW. This more aggressive, unhinged version of his character is one that many fans have been hoping to see unleashed in WWE. Kross has now stated that he would be more than willing to bring that persona back if given the opportunity.

The “Killer Kross” character was known for its sheer brutality and mercenary-like approach, a stark contrast to the more psychological and theatrical presentation of his current WWE persona. While his WWE character has shown flashes of that intensity, it has largely been a more subdued and methodical version.

If The People Want It

In a recent interview on The Angle Podcast, Kross was asked about the possibility of reintroducing the “Killer Kross” character to the WWE fans. He was enthusiastic about the idea, stating that he would do it without hesitation if it was something the fans and the company desired.

“ If that’s what people wanted, I would 100% do it.”

His willingness to adapt and evolve is a trait he has demonstrated throughout his career. His NXT run, where he was an unstoppable and dominant champion, was much closer to his “Killer” persona than his current main roster character has been.

“In a Heartbeat”

Kross’s passion for the more aggressive style was evident. He made it clear that he is ready and willing to “turn the volume up” and deliver the more intense character that many of his longtime followers have been clamoring to see again on a major stage.

“If they wanted me to turn the volume up and give them Killer Kross and the company would let me, I would do it in a heartbeat.”

These comments come at a time when Karrion Kross’s WWE contract status is reportedly up in the air. Whether he re-signs with WWE or moves on to another promotion, his willingness to embrace his more violent roots could signal a major character shift in the near future. For fans of his hard-hitting style, the prospect of “Killer Kross” returning is an exciting one.

The interview was part of a promotional tour for Kross’s first book, “Life Is Fighting,” which is being published by Simon & Schuster. Click here for ordering information.
