Set for release in August 2025, Karrion Kross’s upcoming book (pre-order by clicking here) will delve into personal struggles and vulnerability, aiming to forge a deeper connection with readers beyond his televised persona. Speaking on “Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez,” Kross explained his conscious decision to focus on the hardships alongside the successes.
“I didn’t think there was literally going to be anything interesting about talking non-stop about my triumphs and how great life is with, you know, leaving out the hard parts,” Kross stated. “So I knew engaging in vulnerability was going to be essential for people to connect with this, and that’s what I wanted.” He aims to humanize himself and highlight shared experiences: “I wanted people to know like, yes, what we do is really hard… I am still human… I want people to feel like when they read this, they may see this successful guy with a nice car and a beautiful wife, and he’s on TV and Netflix, but like I went through and continue to go through a lot of really serious stuff, maybe parallel to theirs.”
The book’s purpose extends beyond just sharing; it’s intended to offer perspective and potentially help others facing similar challenges. “I want to tell people how I dealt with it, I want to tell people how I worked through it, and I want to tell people things that I’m continuing to work through it,” Kross elaborated. “Because when you discuss that type of stuff with people, it doesn’t feel so shameful and private when you yourself are going through it… Maybe they read some stuff and they see some red flags in their own life that they can actually spot from a mile away and actually take the next exit… So I wanted that in the book.”
Kross hopes his candid exploration of vulnerability and resilience will resonate with readers, offering relatable insights and fostering a sense of shared understanding.
