Kayla Braxton Calls For WWE To Revoke Donald Trump’s Hall Of Fame Status

Kayla Braxton, a former WWE host, revealed that she used to get in trouble for posting political content during her tenure with WWE. Speaking on her Instagram account, Braxton called for the promotion to take a leadership stance by publicly removing Donald Trump from the WWE Hall of Fame. Trump was inducted into the celebrity wing in 2013, though Braxton suggested that his standing should be reconsidered following the release of the Epstein files.

“Going back to me working at WWE, and I would get in trouble when I posted like political things, because every once in a while I would get riled up. Here’s what I think WWE should do, Donald Trump, President Donald Trump, was in our WWE Hall of Fame. I don’t know if he’s still in it. They may have quietly dismissed him from that, I really don’t know. I think what WWE should do now the Epstein Files have been released and there’s like no question that that man is evil, I think they should do a publicly revoking of his Hall of Fame status,” Braxton said.

Braxton shared that a public statement or even a celebration regarding his removal would be a strong move for the company. She noted that she remains unsure whether any quiet changes have already been made to his status, but she encouraged the promotion to take the lead on this action.

“I think that would be one of the coolest, most like leadership things that they could possibly do. ‘Hey Mr Donald Trump, you are no longer in the WWE Hall of Fame.’ I want a statement, a celebration, a parade, whatever. I think they should be a leader, they should go ahead and start this. Let’s go ahead and start this,” she added.

Braxton left WWE in June 2024 after eight years with the promotion, where she served as a backstage interviewer and host of The Bump. Since her exit, she has focused on her own media projects and become more vocal about social and political issues. WWE has historically distanced itself from Hall of Famers during controversies, most notably removing Hulk Hogan from the site for several years for racist remarks during a leaked sex tape before his eventual reinstatement in 2018.

While under the TKO leadership, WWE has been politically tied with Trump, something Mick Foley couldn’t stand and parted ways with the company over. Current plans for the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony involve Stephanie McMahon as the expected headliner. The event is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas during WrestleMania 42 weekend.
