Keith Lee’s status for WWE Elimination Chamber is “up in the air”

Bobby Lashley is slated to make his next title defense as United States Champion against Matt Riddle and Keith Lee in a Triple Threat Match at the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event.

However, Lee’s status is up in the air for the show, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio.

Lee wasn’t on Monday’s episode of Raw. It’s possible that if Lee can’t make the show then WWE would have Lashley vs. Riddle in a one-on-one match for the strap at this event. There’s no word yet on what kept Lee off WWE programming

“So with Keith Lee, something is going on with Keith Lee, who also wasn’t on the show tonight and we don’t know whether he’s going to be..we don’t know anything about the PPV other than the two chamber matches…the Lashley match, which is a three-way, we don’t know if Keith Lee will be in the match or not. It’s up in the air right now. So, it might be just Lashley and Matt Riddle in a singles match again.”

WWE holds the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, which will air on the WWE Network.
