A promo from this past Monday’s episode of Raw in Birmingham, England, has drawn comments from Kelly Osbourne, the daughter of the late rock legend and WWE Hall of Famer, Ozzy Osbourne. She took to social media to call out Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch and WWE for comments made about her father.

The incident occurred during an in-ring confrontation between Becky Lynch and her new challenger, Nikki Bella. To get a negative reaction from the Birmingham crowd, Lynch used Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away in July, as part of her promo to get heat since that he’s from there.
“I’m not wrestling in Birmingham. The only good thing that came out of here died a month ago,” Lynch said to the crowd. “But in fairness to Ozzy Osbourne, he had the good sense to move to LA, a proper city. Because if I lived in Birmingham, I’d die too.”
Kelly Osbourne’s Scathing Response
The comments did not sit well with Ozzy’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne. She posted a scathing response to Lynch and WWE on her Instagram stories Tuesday morning.
“[Becky Lynch] you are a disrespectful dirtbag! Birmingham would not piss on you if you were on fire,” Osbourne wrote. “Shame on the WWE for allowing such things to be said about my father and his home!!!”
It was noted by fans online that while WWE clipped the line about Ozzy from the video of the segment that was posted to X, the full, uncut version was uploaded to the company’s official YouTube channel. The promo segment set up a new championship match for the upcoming Clash in Paris premium live event. Becky Lynch will now defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Nikki Bella on Sunday, August 31.
