Kenny Omega comments on Roman Reigns – Kevin Owens golf cart spot in Royal Rumble match

AEW World Champion Kenny Omega was watching along during Sunday’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

A spot in the Last Man Standing Match between Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens saw “The Big Dog” get into a golf cart to run over Owens. Many fans compared this spot to several months ago where Omega and Matt Hardy drove over Sammy Guevara on Dynamite.

Omega responded, “Guys, I know. They did it well so props to all involved.”

The AEW star also reacted to a fan who said WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler and Eddie Gilbert did the golf cart spot better 35 years ago. Omega commented, “There’s no topping that one.”

Finally, Omega sent a message to “weird WWE stans” after the show by writing the following:

“Word of advice to all you weird WWE stans. If you’re trying to piss me off, tweet something controversial about a video game I like. I don’t care much about wresting opinions. Those are yours. Have them,” he wrote.
