Kevin Dunn was not happy with production team during WWE Extreme Rules match

This year’s WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view received negative reviews from fans not because of the wrestling quality, but due to the booking decisions made by Vince McMahon.

It turns out that there was a WWE executive who was upset during the broadcast and that’s Kevin Dunn.

As seen at Sunday’s event in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center on the WWE Network, the Raw Women’s Title match between Sasha Banks and Asuka had a questionable finish. The end of the match saw Asuka spray mist into the eyes of the referee before getting laid out when she was hit in the back with a championship.

Bayley put on the referee shirt and counted the pinfall for Banks to beat Asuka.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that during the match “there were some production snafus that set Kevin Dunn off.” Although there’s no word yet on the specific instances, it was noted that Dunn was upset that cameras were catching Bayley in spots where they weren’t supposed to.

When asking around about it, he was told it “wasn’t significant, but enough to get Dunn to shout at people over it for not protecting talent.”

WWE has already announced a rematch between Asuka and Banks for the Raw Women’s Title on next Monday’s episode of Raw.
