Kevin Nash: ‘The Beauty Of This Business Is It’s Supposed To Be A F*cking Work’

Kevin Nash has strongly agreed with recent comments made by William Regal regarding the need for modern wrestlers to work more safely and avoid unnecessary neck injuries. On Kliq This, Nash echoed sentiments also shared by Arn Anderson, noting that the core objective of professional wrestling is to protect one’s opponent and oneself. William Regal also sent a warning to wrestlers about neck injuries.

“Well, I mean that the beauty of this business is it’s supposed to be a fucking work, man,” Nash stated. “You know you’re supposed to go to the ring, and when you leave the ring 17 minutes later, you’re supposed to be in the exact same shape. That’s the art of it, yeah, if you’re in a fucking neck board with the fucking medics around you, you have failed.”

Nash also criticized the logic of high-flying spots that require excessive setup time, comparing it to knowingly walking into a car accident.

“If it’s a spot that you’re both on the top rope and it takes you guys 11 minutes to fucking skip, just like, really, you know that’s like having a premonition that you’re going to get an auto rack in a half hour, and you just say, You know what? You go to leave your house. You just go back in the house and put the keys on the fucking kitchen table,” Nash said.
