WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash is taking on another acting role, as he is set to star in an independent dramedy film titled “Caroline,” reportedly alongside Andy Richter. Speaking on his “Kliq This” podcast, Nash gave some details about his work on the upcoming movie.
Nash shared information about the movie’s production location and his expected time on set. “I know we’re shooting in Syracuse,” he stated. “I think I only shoot for six days. I’ve got six working days, which nowadays on a project is significant.”
He also mentioned that he has the latest version of the script and gave a timeframe for when he might begin filming his part for “Caroline.” “I just got the newest script,” Nash added. “I don’t think I’ll work before the 28th of June.” This indicates his scenes will likely be filmed sometime after that date.
Nash recently gave a very serious reason for Cody Hall (son of the late Scott Hall), has been away from professional wrestling. The WWE Hall of Famer explained the nature of the injury Cody suffered while wrestling in Japan.
Nash stated directly that Cody’s absence is due to a severe neck injury. He also mentioned how the injury happened, pointing to a high-risk maneuver involving one of the Young Bucks.
“Cody got hurt in Japan. He broke his neck with the Young Bucks,” Nash said. He then added more detail about the specific moment: “One of the Young Bucks jumped off the fu**ing balcony and broke his neck. So that’s why Cody’s not wrestling.” Nash’s comments make clear that a very dangerous spot led to his son’s injury and current inability to compete in the ring.
