Kevin Nash on CM Punk’s loss at UFC 203: I guess he’s not the best in the world anymore

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash recently spoke to Iain Chambers of Notts TV News about CM Punk’s UFC debut at UFC 203 against Mickey Gall. As seen in the fight, Punk was submitted by Gall in the first round. Nash didn’t see the fight but did see the coverage after the fight. Nash said that it looked like it didn’t go very well for him.

When asked if he agreed with Punk’s decision to fight, Nash thinks that Punk being 37-years-old was late to get in the fight game.

Nash and Punk briefly worked together in the summer of 2011. Nash thought that Punk was very talented in WWE, but explained that pro wrestling and MMA are very different. Nash added that Gall having more experience was a huge advantage. “0-1, I guess he’s not the best in the world anymore,” Nash said.
