Kevin Nash Praises LA Knight’s “Snug” Work After Previous Criticism

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash has officially reversed his stance on LA Knight. After being a vocal critic of the superstar for his perceived derivative style, Nash offered significant praise on his Kliq This podcast, pointing to a recent brawl with Seth Rollins as a key reason for his change of heart.

From “Copycat” to “Snug” Worker

For months, Nash had been critical of Knight, often claiming on his podcast that the popular star was a “copycat” of WWE legends like The Rock and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. However, after witnessing a chaotic segment from the June 30 episode of Monday Night Raw, where Knight ambushed Seth Rollins in the arena’s concourse, Nash’s opinion shifted. When asked about the brawl, Nash stated simply, “I felt that he’s snug. I felt they were fighting… he’s snug.”

The Path to the Main Event

Now seeing Knight in a new light, Nash argued that WWE should capitalize on his momentum and outlined what he sees as the necessary next step for his career. His praise came with a clear booking suggestion for the popular star.

“If he doesn’t get a shot pretty soon at being in the like, he’s got to attach himself to Rollins, because they’re definitely going with Rollins,” Nash explained. “Once he gets on Rollins, it ain’t going nowhere.”

That program is set to continue this coming weekend, as LA Knight is scheduled to face Seth Rollins in a high-profile match at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event premium live event on July 12. Knight also remains a target for SmackDown’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed,
