Kevin Nash Predicts John Cena Will Retire With The WWE Championship, Last Match Won’t Be On TV

On his “Kliq This” podcast, Kevin Nash made bold predictions regarding John Cena’s announced WWE farewell tour, expressing strong doubts that Cena will compete often in actual matches. Referencing Cena’s schedule of upcoming dates, Nash interpreted them strictly as non-wrestling appearances. “That’s appearances, not matches,” Nash declared, adding emphatically, “F**k you, you can’t make me wrestle.”

Nash further speculated that Cena, holding the WWE championship, intends to retire that specific title lineage upon his departure from the company. “He’s got the… the belt that f**king Austin and Triple H and HBK and Taker and all those guys had. He has it,” Nash explained. “He will be the last motherf**ker to ever have that belt. And when he leaves, they can have whatever f**king tournament they want to have and anoint their new f**king guy, but it won’t be with his belt and it won’t be on his terms.”

Regarding Cena’s final bow, Nash suggested any potential physical confrontation might occur specifically at Cena’s last scheduled appearance at Madison Square Garden and it might not be televised. “I think if it happens anywhere, it’s going to be in the Garden. The last show not on TV,” Nash theorized. He reasoned this approach would maximize the exclusivity and value of the live event, stating, “Makes that a pretty f**king hot ticket.”
