Kevin Nash: CM Punk ‘Won Me Back’ With Recent WWE Promo

Kevin Nash shared his thoughts on several top WWE storylines during the latest episode of Kliq This, offering praise for the new direction of The Vision and his changing opinion on CM Punk.

Nash also discussed Bron Breakker, reiterating his refusal to use his WWE name. He commended Breakker’s recent promo work but insisted on referring to him by his birth name due to their personal history.

“I’m just going to call him Bronson Steiner,” Nash stated. “I can’t Bron Breakker with whatever the fuck. I’ve known Bronson since he was born. So I thought his promo work was strong. I thought he really stepped up.”

Regarding CM Punk, Nash admitted that the “Best in the World” had won him over with his latest microphone performance. After previously criticizing Punk’s physical condition, Nash found Punk’s recent emotional promo to be authentic and superior to his heel work.

“But at the same time, it’s just like he was really good, and then you give the fucking mic to Phil, and it’s another level. And I fucking think that Phil is a better babyface promo than he is a fucking heel promo,” Nash explained. “You know, when he said that, he wasn’t ready not to be the champion… It didn’t feel contrived, it felt fucking sincere… Now he won me back this week, because he was strong, but he didn’t work.”
