Kevin Owens had a crazy spot planned for WWE WrestleMania at Raymond James Stadium

One of the highlights of WrestleMania 36 - Night 1 in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center on the WWE Network was Seth Rollins battling Kevin Owens.

It was a brawl around the training facility that featured a spot where Owens jumped off the WrestleMania sign and hit an elbow drop onto Rollins through the announce table.

It turns out that he wanted to jump off the pirate ship at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, which is where the show was supposed to take place.

Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, WWE had to move the show to the Performance Center in front of no fans. Owens wrote the following on his official Twitter account:

“True story: I went to a show there in January. As soon as I saw it, I told myself no matter what I was doing at Mania, I’d find a way to jump off that thing. I even took pics of it to figure out the best way to go about it. It didn’t work out but I found the next best thing!”
