Kevin Owens signs 5-year deal with WWE

Congratulations to Kevin Owens. During an interview with wrestling historian Patric Laprade, he revealed that he has signed a new 5-year deal WWE.

During the interview, Owens said that he would like to finish his career with the company. At the end of the 5-year deal, he says that he would like to stay with the company if WWE wants to keep him. Of course, he will consult with his family when that time comes.

"Hopefully I do not see why I would not finish my career with WWE," said the former World Champion. I just recently signed a new five-year contract with them. I do not intend to go anywhere. If the WWE wants to continue, if I want to continue and my family is ready for me to continue, I do not see why it would not happen. The 5-year deal is a vote of confidence from management because typical deals are in the 3-year range.

Owens seems happy with what he has accomplished during his career. He said, "If it ends tomorrow, I would be very satisfied with the career I had as a professional wrestler."

So, what is next for him? If you watched the Backlash pay-per-view, it looked clear to fans watching that Owens and Sami Zayn will be splitting up and it looks like Owens will be the babyface this time.
