Sullivan gave his opinion on Lex Luger during this time period: “Lex sometimes gets a bad rap. I never had any resistance from Lex on a finish or an angle. Of course like everybody else, he questioned some things but I never had any problem. Not everybody could work like Eddie Guerrero. Luger, what he might have lacked in punching ability, he made up for with his presence and in these episodes, I think he did an incredible job. Incredible. People don’t understand how over Luger was. Luger does not get the credit he deserves.”

Do you think Konnan was a good fit: “No. Konnan should have been on his own. He brought the Hispanic audience with him. A lot of people don’t give him credit for that. He is half Cuban and half Puerto Rican and was a huge star in Mexico so he brought 3 of the factions of the Hispanics to us.”
