LA Knight’s Absence From WWE Raw Explained

Fans hoping to see the return of “The Megastar” LA Knight during WWE’s recent trip to Germany were left disappointed when he failed to appear on Monday Night Raw. The show, which emanated from Düsseldorf on January 11, featured many of the red brand’s top stars, but Knight was noticeably absent. A new report has shed light on why the popular superstar did not make the trip overseas.

According to an update from Fightful Select, LA Knight was not brought to Germany for the event. This clarification comes after early internal travel documents seemingly listed him for the tour, leading to speculation that he would be making his comeback on European soil. However, those plans evidently changed or were never fully finalized.

Fightful noted, “To debunk ourselves, we were told LA Knight was not brought to Germany. He was on some internal travel plans, but wasn’t brought over.” This confirms that while there was administrative preparation for a potential appearance, the decision was ultimately made to keep him stateside.

Knight has been out of action for over a month, having last been seen on WWE television on December 8, 2025. His absence is part of a storyline injury resulting from a brutal attack by The Vision and Bronson Reed. The assault left Knight with a storyline cracked sternum, an injury WWE officially acknowledged on the December 15 episode of Raw when they announced he would be out “indefinitely.” The severity of the attack has been used to build heat for Reed and The Vision while protecting Knight during his time away from the ring.
