WWE has apparently dropped The New Day monicker…at least for now.
Ever since Big E was officially moved back to the SmackDown roster, the duo has been referenced by the individual names and not as The New Day.
Perhaps, there’s a bigger plan in place for them but this week on SmackDown, Big E and Kingston lost to Los Lotharios and it appears that Los Lotharios are in line for a push since they are being featured more in recent weeks.
Thus far, there has been no explanation for the decision to drop The New Day name. Another possibility is that things will be explained once Xavier Woods returns. Woods has been out with an injury but according to his return timetable, he should be back very soon.
