This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live kicked off with the WWE Championship contract signing between Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan.
Kingston was about to sign the contract but Vince McMahon walked out and declared he wanted a bigger box office match so he decided that Kevin Owens would be replacing Kingston at Fastlane.
On the surface, this appears to be a late decision because they were hyping Owens’ return for next month.
