Kofi Kingston issues warning to Vince McMahon

Kofi Kingston has sent a message to WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon heading into Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown Live episode from Dayton, OH.

This comes after the actions of McMahon at Sunday’s (March 10th, 2019) WWE Fastlane pay-per-view event from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio on the WWE Network where he promised to put him in the WWE Title match with champion Daniel Bryan and Kevin Owens. However, instead of doing that, he ended up putting Kofi in a 1-on-2 Handicap Match with The Bar, which he lost.

It turns out that Mustafa Ali would be added to the WWE Title match and saw Bryan successfully retain his title. The belief is that Kingston will indeed get his chance to challenge Bryan for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 35 next month.

Kofi sent out the following warning on his official Twitter account:

“I’m not sure what Vince was trying to accomplish last night, but one thing became very clear: He does not want to see me as WWE Champion. After 11 years, I finally have your attention…and I’m not going away. See you Tuesday @VinceMcMahon”
