WWE Superstar Kofi Kingston recently talked about Floyd Mayweather on The New Day: Feel The Power podcast. The former WWE Champion was discussing his favourite celebrity appearances at 'Mania, and a story about Mayweather came up. Floyd Mayweather appeared at WrestleMania 24, in a match against the Big Show.
"a lot of people come to like our world and they have a lot of trouble. Like finding like the character aspect..."
"I was like there this one, Mayweather was awesome" Kingston began. "Brass knuckles for real. Like, he hit him [The Big Show] as hard as he could in the face. Like, Come on man! I thought the whole build up for it was great too. And a lot of people come to like our world and they have a lot of trouble like finding like the character aspect, you know? People can come out and like be cool. But I thought Mayweather played his part to perfection."
"Mayweather looks down at him and he says like 'oh yeah I just cashed like $100,000 today.'"
Kingston would then reveal the story about the undefeated boxing star. "Honestly like even in the day, I remember like when they're doing walkthroughs. I forget who it was, was just kind of like, you know like, almost like mean mugging a little bit and side eyeing him. Mayweather looks down at him and he says like 'oh yeah I just cashed like $100,000 today.' You know just starts talking money to him. Just knowing that he was getting like mean mugged you know? And just like playing his roll to perfection. Just this, this little, little dude compared to everybody else on the roster."
