Kofi Kingston vows to be ready to face Brock Lesnar

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston paid close attention to the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match on Sunday night at the pay-per-view event in Hartford, CT at the XL Center.

Kingston successfully retained the WWE Title over Kevin Owens earlier in the night. In the headliner, former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar won this year’s Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match as he beat Drew McIntyre, Ricochet, Baron Corbin, Randy Orton, Andrade, Finn Balor, and Mustafa Ali.

As a result of this win, Lesnar can cash-in his MITB contract anytime within the next year for a championship match.

Although Lesnar is expected to cash-in for the Universal Title due to him being a member of the Raw roster, that hasn’t stopped Kingston from sending a message to “The Beast” as he took to his official Twitter account where he wrote the following: “The top of one mountain is always the bottom of another.’ If and when the time comes, I will be ready to climb.”
