Kurt Angle on WWE Extreme Rules: “I thought it was one of the better PPVs’ in recent memory”

WWE Hall of Famer and former WWE Champion Kurt Angle took part in a Q&A session on his Facebook page and during it, he talked about a wide range of topics.

During the Q&A, Angle was asked about the recent WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view event that took place earlier this month in Philadelphia, PA at the Wells Fargo Center on the WWE Network.

Some of the top matches were Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins vs. Lacey Evans & Baron Corbin and Roman Reigns & The Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre. Angle was high on the show that served as the final PPV event before SummerSlam.

“I thought it was one of the better PPVs’ in recent memory. All of the matches were great. I give it an A- or B+. I thought Undertaker did an excellent job keeping up with Roman, Shane, and Drew.”

Angle was also asked about his memories with pro wrestling legend Chris Jericho, who is now under contract with AEW.

“Chris and I worked together quite a bit when I started my career in WWE in 2000. We had some stellar matches & Chris helped me a lot. Honestly, I wish that Chris and I would have wrestled more when I came into my own around 2002 and after. Unfortunately we didn’t wrestle much after 2000. Chris is one of the most consistent superstars in history. He’s one of the best.”
