Kurt Angle thinks WWE star could’ve been a main eventer if he didn’t get injured

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle took part in a Q&A session on his Facebook page where he talked about a wide range of topics.

During the Q&A, he was asked what he thought of his storyline with Jason Jordan. This is where he noted that he enjoyed it and that if Jordan didn’t suffer an injury, he would be a main eventer.

“I enjoyed it. Jason was very talented and this storyline helped him quite a bit. If he didn’t get injured, I think he’d be main eventing PPVs.”

Jordan and Angle were part of a storyline that WWE created where it was revealed that Jordan was Angle’s son. This storyline was ultimately cut short after Jordan suffered an injury.

Jordan underwent successful surgery in 2018 to repair a neck injury. The procedure Jordan underwent is called a minimally invasive posterior cervical microdiscectomy.

The injury seemingly ended the in-ring career of Jordan, who hasn’t wrestled since. Instead, he transitioned into being a backstage producer for the company.
