Kurt Angle is undergoing 2 knee replacement surgeries today

Kurt Angle underwent the knife on Tuesday as he had his knees replaced.

In the video posted on Twitter, Angle shared the news and joked that he can’t feel his legs because of the epidural.

He wrote the following in the caption, “Thank you all for your prayers and best wishes for my 2 knee replacement surgeries today. So far so good. I realize rehab is going to be a b**ch, but I’m ready for it. If I won a gold medal with a broken freakin neck, I can handle this! Lol. It’s true!!!! Thank you all!!!!”

Angle had been planning since at least last month to get both of his knees replaced. He said that he wanted to get it over with and will be in a wheelchair or on a walker while he rehabs.

WWE brought in Angle this past January for the Royal Rumble where he was supposed to film content and hear about the plans they had for him to return to TV. Angle was originally figured into the RK-Bro vs. Alpha Academy plans as there were various pitches made, but the plans ended up getting nixed
