More information about WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle’s new role with the company continues to surface.
The latest news comes from Dave Meltzer who reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the former World Champion is currently training to become a WWE producer. Angle has been shadowing the current producers for this from a while now.
Angle has been trying to learn the different aspects of this job. As of this writing, there’s no word yet on which brand he is expected to end up at after the training period.
In a previous interview, the legendary pro wrestling confirmed that he’s signed a 5-year long contract with the company to work in a backstage capacity.
As seen at the WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view event in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium on the WWE Network, Angle lost to Baron Corbin in his farewell match.
