SmackDown Live star Lana was recently interviewed by Newsweek to promote WWE’s upcoming first-ever all-female pay-per-view in October entitled, Evolution.
During their conversation, Lana was asked about a potential WWE Women’s Tag Team Division. With the Women’s Revolution, this has been something discussed by professional wrestling fans for quite some time now.
“The Ravishing Russian” seems all on board for a potential tag team division for WWE’s women. In fact, she already has a desired tag team partner picked out:
“Literally, the sky is the limit. We are constantly continuing to shatter glass ceilings and breaking down doors that at one point we were told would never be broken down. It’s really exciting. We have less and less firsts now, but I would love to see the women main event WrestleMania.
“I’ve heard that will never happen, but we will do it. I’d love to see a women’s tag team division, and I’d love to be tag champions some day. I think my teammate as of now would be Naomi.
“We would be Ravishing Glow, we already named ourselves that. We would do a little dancing. She’s the best dancer in the world, but don’t tell her that. I tell her I’m better, but that’s our friendship”
