The October 28th edition of NXT kicked off with chaos as Trick Williams demanded a title match, leading to multiple brawls with Ricky Saints throughout the night and culminating in a huge match announcement from NXT General Manager, Ava.
Williams Demands Title Shot
The show began with Trick Williams searching for Ricky Saints backstage. Unable to find him, Williams went to the ring and took a microphone. He declared that he beat Ricky Saints at Halloween Havoc and vowed that he would not leave the ring until he was granted a title match.
NXT General Manager Ava appeared at ringside to address the situation. She told Williams there was no controversy surrounding his Halloween Havoc match, stating that he lost clean in the middle of the ring. In response, Williams went over a list of the notable opponents he has defeated since starting his career in NXT.
Brawls Break Out
As Williams was speaking, Ricky Saints ran into the ring and a brawl immediately broke out between the two rivals. Security guards rushed to the ring to pull them apart and restore order.
However, the animosity could not be contained. Later in the evening, during the TNA Knockouts Championship match between Kelani Jordan and Jordynne Grace, Williams and Saints once again began fighting. Their brawl spilled into the ring, interrupting the championship contest, and then back into the ringside area.
Last Man Standing
The second brawl saw Saints spear Williams directly through a wall near the ringside area. Following the destruction, Ava appeared once again. Fed up with the chaos, she announced that Williams and Saints will settle their differences in a Last Man Standing Match in two weeks at NXT Gold Rush.
