Naomi and Sasha Banks have been absent from the world of wrestling since they walked out of WWE Raw in May.
There have been several reports about Banks’ future in wrestling with the latest being that she negotiated her WWE release over the summer and is expected to appear at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 next month with her working additional dates for New Japan Pro Wrestling. For Naomi, her future is still up in the air. In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that “nothing has been said about her. We were told that she has to make a decision.”
Originally, Naomi wanted to return to WWE with Banks as a tag team, but with the situation drawing out, it became a case of her needing to decide whether she wanted to sit at home, go somewhere else or return without Banks.
With Banks gone from WWE, it will be interesting to see what Naomi does.
