Latest on when Ricochet’s WWE contract expires

There has been a lot of talk about Ricochet’s future in WWE this week.

There had a been a rumor going around that his contract was slated to expire very soon. However, that’s not the case.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his contract expires in the summer of 2024. It was noted that he signed a five year deal when he moved to the main roster.

This was at a time when WWE was trying to prevent talents from signing with AEW and locking wrestlers down to big-money five year deals.

Ricochet made his main roster debut in February 2019 after a successful run in NXT. Ricochet hasn’t been featured on Raw since dropping a loss to Mustafa Ali on the December 28th edition. He was backstage this past Monday night but not used on Raw. He did score a win over Drew Gulak on last Thursday’s WWE Main Event episode.
