WrestleMania 37 is a little over a month away as it takes place on Saturday, April 10th. and Sunday, April 11th from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. However, tickets have yet to be put on sale.
WWE is expected to have 25,000 fans in attendance for each night. WWE officials have considered the idea of having cardboard cutouts of fans placed throughout Raymond James Stadium just like the NFL did for the Super Bowl in addition to the real fans there, but it has yet to be confirmed whether WWE will actually go through with this idea.
It was reported last month that WWE was waiting to put tickets on sale because they and the stadium were still trying to figure out how to have fans attend in a safe manner.
Fightful Select reported today the plan for tickets going on sale for the event is roughly next week. It was added there is a test event scheduled for this Friday to work out any kinks in the ticketing sales. Thus, it’s possible once WWE does the test this Friday and has no issues, an announcement could be made shortly after.
A few weeks ago, the company told wrestlers that friends and family comped tickets would either be severely limited or eliminated altogether as a result of the protocols.
