For now, WrestleMania 37 is scheduled for March 28, 2021 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The location of the show could change as it gets closer.
This year’s WrestleMania 36 event took place as a two-night event due to the show being moved from Tampa in a stadium to Orlando at the Performance Center in front of no fans.
Earlier this week, Triple H spoke with Corey Graves on After The Bell where he talked about the decision to make the biggest event of the year for the company a two-night show.
Many praised the company for doing so as WrestleMania is typically the longest show of the year for WWE. Each show this year was about three hours for the main card.
Triple H was quoted by stating that WrestleMania is like “a week-long festival and I think that the big main-stage attraction needs to be those two nights and it’d be this weekend of events.”
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that currently there are no plans for WrestleMania 37 to be a two-night event.
With everything in WWE, plans change often and depending on the circumstances that the company faces come next year, this could change. There are challenges of doing this as WWE hosts the Hall of Fame ceremony and NXT TakeOver special on the same weekend as WrestleMania.
WWE has started to explore a “plan B” for a new city to host WrestleMania 37. For more on that, click here.
