Details on the buy rate for the latest pay-per-view event presented by WWE, Clash of Champions, has surfaced online.
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that PPV buys for the show are 12,800 as of right now. The Hell in a Cell show that took place last September did about 16,300.
The belief is that the number will end up closer with late buys from this coming week added in but it was noted that decline comes at the same time WWE Network numbers have also declined. The current decline is down 21.6 percent from last year. This is less than the decline for SummerSlam.
Meltzer wrote, “of those, about 6,400, or half, also purchased SummerSlam last month. However, only about 320, or 2.5 percent of those who purchased Clash, purchased All Out.”
WWE returns with the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event on Sunday, October 6, 2019 in Sacramento, California at the Golden 1 Center.
