Latest update on Rich Swann and his future with WWE
It looks like Rich Swann and wife Vannarah Riggs are back together. Riggs, who wrestles on the independent scene as Su Yung, indicated on Facebook earlier this week that things were fine between them. She said, “I can not wait to see my husband tomorrow. After such an awesome weekend of wrestling debuting in two different promotions across America, nothing would be better than to see his face.”
Swann’s attorney told Alex Marvez of The Sporting News that no charges have been filed and he is hoping for a “fair and quick resolution” to this case. He said, “We’re hopeful for a fair and quick resolution on behalf of Mr. Swann, but ultimately the state attorney will make their decision (on potential charges) when they deem it appropriate.”
If Riggs and Swann are back on good terms, then there’s probably a good chance that she will not want to press charges. Of course, the case is in the hands of the state attorney. If the case is thrown out, then one would think that he would be welcome back in WWE. Swann is currently indefinitely suspended because WWE has a zero-tolerance policy on domestic violence issues. The suspension would likely be lifted if the case is thrown out.
