AJ Lee (AJ Mendez) recently took to social media to clarify her official online presence and warn fans about a fake Facebook account impersonating her and spreading misinformation. The former WWE Divas Champion addressed the issue directly on her verified X account.
The need for clarification arose after a fraudulent Facebook profile, claiming to be Lee, asserted that her recent absence from WWE television was due to her being on a book tour. This claim is inaccurate, as Lee is not currently on a book tour.
In response to the imposter account and its false claims, Lee posted a clear message to her followers, directing them to her only legitimate social media profiles.
“Hi bebes, I don’t have facebook or any other socials besides this X and a verified Instagram: http://instagram.com/theajmendez,” Lee wrote on her X account, @TheAJMendez.
Lee made her highly anticipated return to WWE earlier this year after nearly a decade away from the company. Since returning, she has been featured prominently on WWE programming, often involved in storylines alongside her real-life husband, CM Punk, and engaging in a rivalry with Becky Lynch.
