Legendary Manager, Longtime Friend Of Hulk Hogan Gives An Update On Hogan’s Health

WWE Hall of Famer and legendary manager Jimmy Hart has publicly pushed back against recent rumors regarding the health of his longtime friend, Hulk Hogan. In a social media post on Tuesday, Hart denied claims that he had privately expressed grave concern for Hogan’s well-being.

Jimmy Hart Denies Rumors, Says Hogan Is ‘Doing Great’

The denial comes after the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show, which has been spreading rumors about Hogan’s “failing health” for over a month, claimed that Jimmy Hart had privately told people that Hogan was not doing well and could not speak. Hart took to Twitter to refute this.

“Hulk is doing great, doing phenomenal!,” Hart wrote. “Last night at karaoke with Nick was absolutely fantastic, baby!!!”

Hogan’s Camp Pushes Back On ‘Failing Health’ Claims

This is the latest attempt by Hogan’s camp to debunk the rumors. On July 11, Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily, issued a statement confirming that the 71-year-old has been in and out of the hospital while recovering from back fusion surgery, but she firmly denied claims that he was in a coma or had suffered brain damage.

Another longtime friend of Hogan’s, Jacques Rougeau,  insists that Hogan is recovering well from a recent operation. The conflicting reports on Hogan’s health come as he prepares to launch a new promotion, but it’s not pro wrestling.

His “Real American Freestyle” venture, an Olympic-style wrestling league created with Eric Bischoff, is scheduled to hold its inaugural show on August 30 in Cleveland. WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle is slated to be a commentator for the event.
