Legendary WWE voiceover announcer passes away

Legendary voiceover man Jim Fagan passed away last month. He did voiceover work for WWE from 1995 to 1999. His voice was featured on many of the pay-per-view commercials during that time period and you may remember his voice from the “WWF: For over 50 years…” signature (see below) at the start of shows during that time.

If you are a sports fan then you’ll remember his voice, most notably as the voiceover man for NBA on NBC and NBA Inside Stuff. Fagan had been suffering from Parkinson’s Disease. He was 72 years old. In addition to his WWE work, he did voiceover work for the NFL, NBA, NBC Sports, the Olympics and hundreds of commercials.
