Logan Paul may come face-to-face with former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell has teased a potential appearance for WrestleMania 42. The tension between the two escalated after Paul was forced to call off a proposed $2 million boxing match against Bell due to a directive from WWE leadership.
Following the cancellation, Bell took to social media to signal his intentions for Mania, tweeting, “I’m pulling up to @WWE @LoganPaul,” followed by a post simply stating, “WrestleMania 42.”
The proposed fight was part of Paul’s $1 million open bet with current or former NFL athletes, where he suggested he and Bell spar in boxing or MMA until one participant quit. However, WWE management reportedly contacted Paul to veto the plans, citing concerns over potential injuries ahead of the company’s biggest event of the year. Rob Gronkowski, who is also set to participate in a flag football game with Paul on March 21, dismissed this as an “excuse” for Paul to “duck” the former football star.
Le’Veon Bell’s Combat Sports Background
Bell transitioned into professional boxing following his NFL career and currently holds a 2-1 record. While he lost his pro debut to MMA veteran Uriah Hall in October 2022, he secured subsequent victories over social media personalities JMX and Tristan Hamm in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
Paul is currently a member of “The Vision” faction alongside Paul Heyman and has recently been targeted by a returning Seth Rollins. Paul has also shown interest in a future match with Bad Bunny, though he noted that such an match is something that will likely happen “some day” rather than in the immediate future.
