Linda McMahon was confirmed on Tuesday to head Donald Trump’s Small Business Administration. The vote for McMahon was 81 to 19 and she was said to be one of Trump’s least contentious nominations so this confirmation was just a formality.
McMahon took questions in the committee hearing last month and her daughter Stephanie McMahon and son-in-law Paul “Triple H” Levesque were there at the hearing to support Linda.
The McMahons and the Trump family have been friends dating back to the late 1980s when Trump Plaza hosted WrestleMania 4 and 5. Linda McMahon donated $7 million to political action committees that supported Trump. WWE has stayed out referencing politics on their TV shows and they have not referenced Trump or Linda McMahon since Trump won the election back in November.
