Lio Rush fires back at Mark Henry for “lying on my name to this day”
WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry is being called out on Twitter by former WWE Superstar Lio Rush for comments that Henry has made on Busted Open Radio.
It started last year when there were reports of Rush being unhappy with pay and other issues that caused him to stay home for a while. Rush was brought back in the fall and then released last month as part of budget cuts.
Rush is taking issue with Henry taking his issues from last year public. He started out by tweeting, “Woke up remembering the time Mark Henry said I lied to him to his face & then continued to bury me on his podcast while telling me I need to learn how to spend my money better. Sh*t was crazy. Sorry man, I didn’t mean to have a wife and two kids on top of other responsibilities.”
Rush is referring to when Henry said he was angry because he pulled Rush aside last year to find out what was going on with him after hearing “stuff in the locker room.” Henry claimed that Lio told him, “oh no, there’s nothing wrong.” On his podcast, Henry said, “That’s a blatant lie to my face! I was trying to help him” because he (Henry) knows the system more than most people.

Wrestling is supposed to be one of the most positive things in the world. But somehow, someway, some people within the business like to make it a miserable experience for others.
