Liv Morgan Clarifies Stance On Online Criticism

Liv Morgan meant no disrespect with her recent comments about dealing with online criticism. When asked earlier this month how she handles critics given that she has such a large following on social media, Morgan said that, unless you’re her boss, she doesn’t really care what you have to say — either positively or negatively. She expanded on those comments during an appearance on the Battleground Podcast, clarifying that she does care about the WWE fans. She just understands that not everyone is going to like everything.

“That’s not to say that I don’t care about my supporters or the people that watch the product,” Morgan said. “But pertaining to online criticism, yeah, I do not care. I don’t care about what you have to say. I care about, obviously, what Triple H thinks, my boss. My producers. My peers involved. And whomever I’m seeking guidance for or advice for after the fact. And that could be various people, or no one.”

The winner of the 2026 women’s Royal Rumble match noted that she views personal taste as a subjective factor. She compared her situation to a specific fruit to illustrate that a high-quality performance will still have its detractors.

“But, yeah, I just feel like — what is that saying? It could be the yummiest, juiciest, most delicious peach in the world, but there’s still someone that doesn’t like peaches. And that’s okay. I don’t care, not out of disrespect, I just don’t care, just because I understand that not everyone’s going to like everything. So I’m okay with that,” Morgan stated.

Morgan will be challenging either Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer or WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 42. A segment took place on Raw last night in Memphis, Tennessee, with Vaquer confronting Morgan at the FedExForum. During the interaction, Vaquer’s words were enough to make Morgan cry in the middle of the ring. This follow’s a recent incident where Vaquer slapped Morgan’s associate, Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio.

Morgan is also eyeing a run in AAA, mentioning that winning the AAA Mixed Tag Championships with Mysterio is “highly likely.” For now, Morgan remains focused on her WrestleMania 42 decision as the rivalry with Vaquer grows more personal each week.
