Liv Morgan Stalker Arrest Involved “Much Larger Agency” Than Local Authorities

More details have come out regarding the arrest of an alleged stalker targeting WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan outside the WWE Performance Center on Tuesday. While initial reports confirmed an arrest during the NXT tapings, PWInsider.com has provided a notable new detail.

Amidst some initial confusion due to two separate arrests occurring in the area that night (one for an unrelated outstanding burglary warrant), “WWE sources, speaking on the condition of anonymity, confirmed a second arrest had been made at the Performance Center, and the suspicion that it was related to stalking Liv Morgan was said to be legitimate.”

The most significant new piece of information from the PWInsider report is that local authorities “did not make it [the arrest], and that a ‘much larger agency is involved.’” WWE has had to deal with disturbing stalking incidents in the past, such as the 2020 attempted kidnapping of Sonya Deville.

This incident led to Philip Thomas being sentenced to 15 years in prison in 2023, underscoring the company’s serious approach to talent safety.
