Liv Morgan’s Injury Caused Several WWE Storylines To Be Scrapped

The recent shoulder injury to Liv Morgan, which will require surgery, reportedly caused a major domino effect, forcing WWE to scrap several significant, planned storylines. A report from Cory Hays of BodySlam.net has shed light on what was originally mapped out for Morgan through the summer.

According to the report, Morgan was a central figure in multiple programs. Morgan was scheduled to challenge Iyo Sky for the Women’s World Championship at the Night of Champions premium live event.

Morgan was slated to face WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella at the returning Evolution event. This would have either been a singles match or a tag team match pitting Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez against The Bella Twins, pending Brie Bella coming to an agreement with WWE.

Further storyline developments within The Judgment Day were set to lead to a mixed tag team match. It would’ve seen Morgan and Dominik Mysterio facing Roxanne Perez and Finn Balor. We wish Liv Morgan a speedy and healthy recovery.
