The location for WrestleMania 34, which will take place in 2018, has been revealed. Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that WWE will be returning to New Orleans for their biggest event of the year.
This would mark the second time that the company has held WrestleMania in New Orleans. WrestleMania 30 took place in the city in 2014, which saw Daniel Bryan win the WWE World Heavyweight Title in the main event. It’s also where Brock Lesnar ended The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak. As of this writing, there’s no word on the date for the event.
New Jersey’s Met Life Stadium had also been under consideration for next year. The 1/9 edition of Monday Night Raw will take place in New Orleans and they are advertising Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker for that show so it’s very possible that an announcement will be made at that time.
